I moved to Florida from West Texas in 1980 and never looked back. My husband and I have been married for 34 years and have had the same Mustang in our garage for 33 of those years. It is a part of our family. I have been a member of the GulfShore Mustang Club for 9 years. Our club stays very active with Mystery Cruises, 5th Friday Celebrations, Cruise Ins, Car Shows, Parades, Club Picnics and raising money and awareness for our charities.

Shelley has enjoyed her passion for Mustangs over the last 38 years along with her husband, Jim. After attending several GSMC events, the Wilcoxson’s joined the club and have been very active since. She also enjoys weaving as her hobby and small business. Shelley & Jim have 2 grown children & 4 grandchildren that they love spending time with. They own 2 Shelby GT’s, a 2007 Coupe and 2008 Convertible. Shelley says the love of Mustang is what brought her & Jim together in the first place so many years ago so it is a lifestyle for Wilcoxson’s. The cars are just part of the family.

I moved from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to Ft Myers in 2003 to work in the construction industry as a CADD operator. I became friends with the owner of a 2005 Mustang, he took me for a drive and I was hooked. Soon after that I went out and bought a 2007 GT, joined GSMC and the rest as they say is history.

We moved to Cape Coral from New Jersey in 2003 and have never looked back.  I purchased my first Mustang in the early 80’s and have been in love with the cars ever since.  I have been a club member for 4 years and enjoy taking part in the club activities.  We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren and our newest family member is an 08 Shelby GT/SC. We hope to see you at the club events!

Growing up in Iowa, Amber would gaze upon the neighbor boy’s 1965 two-door hardtop and know some day she would own one as well. Fast-forward forty years, she and her husband met this beauty, a 1964.5 two-door hardtop, online and brought her home. A well-maintained resto-mod, Ruby turns many heads while cruising the vista. At car shows you’ll find Amber eyeing the other first generation Ford Mustangs. You just can’t beat a classic!

I moved to Cape Coral in 2022 and was thrilled to discover the Gulfshore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida. The warm welcome I received from club members when I attended my very first Christmas Care Show with my 1965 2-door Hardtop Mustang, made me feel right at home. I love interacting with fellow Mustang enthusiasts and am passionate about our club’s efforts to support local charities. Combining my love for Mustangs with community service has been a truly rewarding experience.

I’m known as Debby with a “Y’. My husband John and I moved to Fort Myers FL from Sandusky, Ohio in 1999. I bought my 1996 Red Mustang Convertible (Betty Boop) right off the delivery truck in Lorain Ohio in the Fall of 1995. In 2007 we discovered The Gulfshore Mustang Club at their Mustang Birthday Celebration where I then became a member and have been a very active member since. In Feb. of 2013 I implemented the Sunshine Chair for the Club. I enjoy cheering people up with cards and just making them smile. John & I have been together since 1979, we have 2 daughters, a granddaughter and a grandson.

I retired from a 44-year career as an architect in 2018 and made Labelle my winter
home. Growing up in Western New York from a Ford Family, as a Teenager from April
1964 on I always wanted to own a Mustang.
After a Life Changing event in the fall of 2022, it was time to fulfill the dream of owning a
Mustang. After a long search I purchased my 2008 GT Convertible, and I immediately
joined MCA. That helped me find GSMC and I’ve been a member since.
